Happy Hallowe'en

Little Z and AJ really got into the spirit of the occasion with their costumes this year and had great fun going out to 'trick and treat'.

Outing no 2

Despite spending all of the previous day walking around Chester Zoo, we decided to go for it and spend the whole of the next day at Gullivers World theme park in Warrington. We were pleasantly surprised by how entertaining it was and everyone got into the spirit and tried the rides. We all agreed that the runaway mine cart was the scariest and Z definitely didin't want to try it again! The pirate ship was great fun but Mummy really wasn't keen on the spinning tea-cups especially as everyone else thought it really funny to make it go faster and faster!!

Birthday outing

On her birthday we took little Z to Chester Zoo where her favourite animals were the giraffes and the meerkats.

Birthday girl

Z was 5 on Tuesday and we took a trip to Liverpool over half-term.
She enjoyed opening all the presents and the best bit was each time we sang Happy Birthday with a birthday cake included!!

All change at the hairdressers

Mrs H decided it was time for a change (again!!) and this is the end result - I am really pleased with my new look.

Home improvement project - the final countdown!

For those of you who are aware of the mammoth renovation tasks we undertook this year, the end is in sight!!! Our bedroom underwent a complete overhaul and we are really thrilled at the end results however, Mrs H still does have one complaint - there will never be enough wardrobe space for clothes, shoes and bags!

Baby S meets the Hewletts

This was shortly after we came back from our holidays and our friends Mr & Mrs K became proud parents to Baby S. Little Z was completely entranced by the baby and stood permanently next to the crib all the time we were there!!

Let me in, let me in!

Little Z couldn't wait to get into the classroom today and there was not a backward glance to Mummy and Daddy. She came out at lunch time bouncing. Apparently she had been on the computer today and not "the boring stuff - it was brilliant stuff". That's about all we could get out of her other than she was really put out that she couldn't go back in the afternoon!!

School uniforms at the ready

Don't they look gorgeous???

School time

It was back to school for AJ today and it was also little Z's first day at 'big school'. She has been so excited and couldn't wait for today to arrive. We have been counting the 'sleeps' since we came back from holiday.

From the minute she woke up there was a big smile on her face as she was finally going to school with AJ.
