Fencing achievement

AJ was awarded his Grade 2 fencing badge on Thursday which we were very pleased about. Well done AJ!!

Under the sea

Little Z and the rest of the reception class hosted parents assembly on Tuesday which was all about creatures under the sea. Unfortunately, Mummy's camera decided to switch to power save just as little Z stepped up to the microphone but she was great and remembered all her words.

Onchan FC are the best

On Sunday AJ's football team - Onchan - were playing in Peel. They drew the first friendly nil-nil and won their league match 7-0 and AJ scored one of the goals! We were all there to support him and the team so we decided to go to Peel for ice-cream to celebrate their great win. It was a gorgeous day and ice-cream at 11.30a.m. was excellent!!

En guarde!

AJ took part in a team fencing tournament last weekend and Manx Fencing Club fenced really well on the day - unfortunately the other clubs were a bit more experienced and they came 3rd.

February half-term outings

Grandma came over to the Isle of Man at the request of Mrs H to spend a week doing activities and going on outings with AJ and little Z. The most enjoyable day was the visit to Peel Castle followed by ice-cream at Davison's. Some unusual combinations chosen including mint-choc chip with chocolate & cocount!!
